Uso de la plataforma Fullcode en la enseñanza de Emergencias Clínicas I para los estudiantes de Emergencias Médicas

En la actualidad, la educación superior enfrenta el reto de integrar tecnologías digitales que favorezcan el aprendizaje autónomo y en menor tiempo, con énfasis en carreras de la salud donde se requiere destreza práctica y resolución de problemas. El presente estudio analizó la eficacia de la plataforma Fullcode en la enseñanza de la asignatura Emergencias Clínicas I para estudiantes de segundo semestre de la carrera de Emergencias Médicas del Instituto Superior Tecnológico Consulting Group Ecuador. La enseñanza de contenidos clínicos en contextos prehospitalarios requiere integrar metodologías activas con herramientas tecnológicas que favorezcan la comprensión, el diagnóstico y la intervención rápida en situaciones críticas. En este marco, se implementó un diseño cuasiexperimental de pretest y postest, sin grupo control, con una muestra de 20 estudiantes. La intervención consistió en el uso de Fullcode durante ocho semanas, a través de recursos multimedia, esquemas interactivos y evaluaciones integradas. Los resultados obtenidos evidencian un incremento significativo en el rendimiento académico: en el pretest la media fue de 12.20, la desviación estándar de 2.15. Mientras que en el postest el promdio llegó a 16.55 con una desviación estándar de 2.47. El análisis inferencial mediante la prueba t de student para muestras relacionadas evidenció una diferencia estadísticamente significativa entre ambos momentos, t de student (gl=19) de 6.41 y un valor de p < .001, con una media de diferencia de 4.35. Estos hallazgos confirman que el uso de Fullcode constituye un recurso pedagógico eficaz para fortalecer el aprendizaje clínico y promover la integración de tecnologías digitales en la formación de futuros profesionales de emergencias médicas.
