Educational Strategies in the Human Anatomy Course in Medical Schools: An Analysis of Innovative and Effective Approaches
DOI:

This article analyzed teaching methods in human anatomy, a crucial discipline in medical training, with the aim of exploring the various strategies employed in medical schools that enhance meaningful learning of this subject. Through a bibliographic review in databases such as Pubmed and Scielo, educational strategies were analyzed from traditional to modern approaches. The results highlighted the effectiveness of a multimodal approach, integrating tools such as radiology, ultrasound, virtual methods, and visual arts. Cadaveric dissection remains fundamental, providing a practical understanding of anatomy and fostering clinical skills. Innovative methods such as "body painting," online teaching with augmented and virtual reality, and the use of plastic anatomical models, proved effective in improving understanding and knowledge retention. The incorporation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), gamification, and discussion forums enrich the learning experience, and strategies such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and the Flipped Classroom put the student at the center of the educational process. The integration of radiological imaging and techniques such as TSC (Tuebingen's Sectio Chirurgica) link anatomical knowledge with clinical application. Despite the benefits of online teaching, face-to-face interaction and practical experience remain essential. The study concluded that combining traditional and modern methods, adapted to current needs, is fundamental in contemporary medical education.
