The ponderoestatural insufficiency, characterized by a short stature and low weight relative to age, represents a dual burden of malnutrition that affects individuals worldwide. This issue can be addressed through proper nutrition and appropriate nutrient supplementation. The aim of this article is to present the latest updates on healthy eating for children with malnutrition issues, to identify suitable foods and portions for their age, and to inform the public about correct dietary practices, strategies, and habits to combat nutritional problems.
