Abstract

The covid-19 virus is caused by SARS cov2, a disease which affects the respiratory tract. This was discovered for the first time in Wuhan, China at the end of 2019, and the virus is spread by sneezing from an infected individual. Covid-19 vaccines come in a variety of forms, each including a unique combination of protein subunits, nucleic acids, viral vectors, and attenuated viruses. The adverse effects that manifest include soreness and pain in the puncture site. The main aim of this study was to analyze the side effects and reactions to COVID-19 vaccinations. A descriptive narrative methodology was applied based on a bibliographic search with inclusive and exclusive criteria. Several vaccinations with varying components that produced immunity more than 85% were tried as a first goal. With 96% of vaccinations used, messenger RNA vaccines were the most popular. Viral vector vaccines came in second with 90% of vaccinations, and the inactive virus vaccine with 79% immunity. The most common side effects of the vaccinations were chills, fever, arm soreness, and tenderness at the puncture site. As was the case with Pfizer and Moderna, the adverse reactions included lymphadenopathy, Bell's palsy, and nosebleeds, among other significant problems. There have been reports of thrombosis syndrome with thrombocytopenia and uncommon clotting disorders linked to the AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
