This review article discusses the variation in the prevalence of cerebrovascular accident (CVA) according to the age of those affected, highlighting that there are important differences in the triggering factors in young people, despite the fact that the disease is more prevalent in advanced age. group due to risk factors associated with aging. As a result of the degenerative effects of aging, stroke is more common in older adults who also have diabetes, atrial fibrillation, high blood pressure, and atherosclerosis. This diversity of risk factors emphasizes the importance of early identification of particular factors in each age group and is essential for the design of prevention and management approaches adapted to different ages.
