Anxiety and depression in single mothers

Through an analysis of recent research, this article focuses on the analysis of anxiety and depression in the context of single mothers, examining how these conditions affect the mental health of single mothers and, in turn, examining risk factors and specific triggers, such as financial stress, lack of social support and family demands, which may contribute to increased levels of anxiety and depression in this population, analyzing the implications of maternal anxiety and depression in the emotional well-being and development of children, consequently highlighting the importance of addressing these conditions in a comprehensive manner to promote a healthy family environment. The importance of psychological and supportive interventions for single mothers is also emphasized, with a focus on therapeutic strategies and educational initiatives that can boost their mental well-being and increase their resilience.
