Kidney failure is the gradual loss of kidney function. Many patients with this pathology are anemic, which occurs due to the loss of blood through the kidneys, since they have lost part of their functionality, causing not all the waste from the body to be filtered, generating stones that damage the kidney. The objective of the research was to demonstrate anemia and kidney failure in adult patients from a private laboratory in the period 2022, Jipijapa. The methodology applied was a cross-sectional, retrospective study, applying the deductive-inductive bibliographic methods, 80 patients participated, 68.75% (n = 55) were women and 31.25% (n = 25) were men. The results highlight that 40% (n = 32) presented anemia, where mild anemia was found in 34.4%, moderate in 62.5% and severe in 3.1%, as well as microcytic, normochromic and macrocytic anemia in 6.3%. %, 90.6% and 3.1% respectively. 67.5% without renal failure, 30% with probable renal failure and 2.5% with renal failure. In addition, there was no statistical association between the variables thanks to the chi-square test. This concludes that it is necessary to carry out medical monitoring more frequently in order to detect early diseases, and thus, take preventive measures.
