Abstract

In this document, herpes infection and its diverse clinical classification are discussed. The various stages of herpes infection are explored, from the initial phase of viral replication in epithelial cells to latency in nerve ganglia and subsequent reactivations. The clinical characteristics of each type of herpes are addressed, including its cutaneous and mucosal manifestations, as well as its systemic symptoms. The article also covers the possible side effects caused by herpes infections, emphasizing the value of early detection and proper care to avoid serious consequences. In discussing the effects of recurrent herpetic infections on patients, the need for continuing education on the treatment and prevention of these infections is emphasized.
