Abstract

Introduction. Attention to patients' overall well-being has evolved beyond simply curing diseases. Today, it is recognized that the patient's experience during their stay in a health center has a significant impact on their recovery and satisfaction. Clinical safety, understood as the prevention of avoidable harm, is an essential component of this comprehensive care. Methods The electronic databases of Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), Cochrane, PubMe were searched. Results In general, the systematic reviews were well conducted, although several included studies of poor or fair quality. Another very important aspect is the implementation of a registry of adverse events. Conclusions: There is abundant evidence demonstrating the positive effects of person-centred care on the quality of health care, high-quality nursing research.
