About the Journal

The PROciencias Scientific Journal is a publication and scientific dissemination medium affiliated with the Ecuadorian Society of Scientific Research. Therefore, the Journal's objective is to publish scientific articles and technical notes resulting from original research and bibliographic reviews that demonstrate rigor, theoretical soundness, critical analysis, and scientific relevance in multidisciplinary research. The scientific resources presented meet the standards of peer-reviewed peer-review.

The PROciencias Scientific Journal publishes under defined thematic coverage in the following areas of knowledge:

• Social Sciences.
• Technology, ICT, and Innovation.
• Engineering and Basic Sciences.
• Educational Sciences.
• Health Sciences.

Each section has specialized referees in the aforementioned areas of knowledge. For this reason, the published articles are relevant, current, and scientifically rigorous, thus contributing to the dissemination of knowledge.

The PROciencias Scientific Journal publishes semiannually. However, special issues may be published as needed. Its target audience is researchers, professionals, students, and the scientific and academic community connected with the aforementioned areas of knowledge, both nationally and internationally.
