Archiving and interoperability

This journal uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archive among participating libraries, allowing these libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.

You can archive the post-print (the final version after peer review) or the publisher's version/PDF.

The PROciencias Scientific Journal's technical team backs up all articles every two months to the system's cloud; and every three months, they are backed up again to hard drive.

Article Readability and Interoperability

The journal's Open Access policy ensures the readability of articles and their metadata, promoting interoperability under the OAI-PMH open data and open source protocol. The files, both of the complete publications and their segmentation by article, are openly available in HTML and PDF formats, facilitating reading on any device and computing platform.

Address for accessing the OAI-PMH protocol: OAI 2.0 Request Results (soeici.org)

The Journal uses Dublin Core as its interoperability protocol, and the metadata is available at: https://soeici.org/index.php/prociencias/oai?verb=ListRecords&metadataPrefix=oai_dc
