FASHION AND STYLE IN TEXTILE DESIGN

This paper examines the impact of innovation, sustainability and emerging technologies on textile design and fashion. Three main subthemes are discussed: the integration of sustainable practices and eco-friendly materials in textile design, the influence of global culture and trends on fashion, and the adoption of advanced technologies in textile production. The review highlights how sustainability has become a priority, with designers and manufacturers adopting organic and recycled materials, and responsible production methods. The influence of global culture and trends on fashion is reflected in the incorporation of traditional and contemporary elements, promoting diversity and cultural appreciation. Emerging technologies such as 3D printing, smart textiles and artificial intelligence are transforming the textile industry, offering new opportunities for innovation and efficiency. The article concludes that the combination of sustainability, culture and technology is redefining the future of textile design and fashion, providing a path towards a more responsible and advanced industry. Policies and practices are recommended that support the adoption of these innovations, ensuring sustainable and equitable development.
