Abstract

This paper addresses the implementation of mobile educational technology and its applications in the educational context. The benefits, challenges, and opportunities associated with using these technological tools in the classroom are examined. The review includes an analysis of empirical studies that evaluate the effectiveness of mobile applications in learning, highlighting improvements in academic performance, motivation, and student engagement. Challenges related to technological infrastructure, teacher training, and data security and privacy are also discussed. Mobile app integration offers an opportunity to personalize learning, foster collaboration, and prepare students for the digital future. However, the lack of adequate infrastructure and the need for adequate teacher training are important obstacles that must be overcome to maximize the positive impact of mobile technology in education. The review concludes that, although significant challenges exist, mobile applications have the potential to transform the educational process and improve learning outcomes if implemented effectively. The final recommendation is to promote policies and practices that facilitate the adoption of mobile technology in schools, ensuring equitable access and protection of student data.
