Agricultural production and productive development are fundamental for economic growth and environmental sustainability. This article examines the technological innovations that are transforming modern agriculture, such as the use of drones, precision irrigation, biotechnology and robotics, and highlights their impact on productivity and sustainability. The challenges and opportunities facing agriculture globally are also analyzed, such as the need for modernization, climate change and food security. The implementation of sustainable agricultural practices is crucial for comprehensive and equitable rural development. These practices include crop rotation, the use of organic fertilizers, agroforestry and integrated pest management. These practices not only improve soil health and biodiversity, but also increase the resilience of agricultural systems to environmental and economic challenges. Farmer education and training play an essential role in the adoption of these practices, ensuring they are well equipped to implement and maintain sustainable methods in their operations.
