Item Processing Charge (APC)

Publishing in the PROciencias Scientific Journal does not involve any costs for the author(s) who submit their work for consideration (the journal is financed by the contribution of the Ecuadorian Society of Scientific Research). The manuscript must be submitted along with the documents requested from the author (such as: the Letter of Originality, the completed and signed Copyright Transfer Agreement, the Declaration of Conflict of Interest, the CV(s) of the author(s) and co-author(s), a digital image of the national identity document (in color), and the article formatted according to the PROciencias Scientific Journal template, complying with the Author Guidelines).

The PROciencias Scientific Journal is an open-access journal, entirely free for readers and authors, which encourages the reuse and self-archiving of its articles in international databases, repositories, directories, and information systems, thus fostering greater global knowledge exchange. This means that the journal does not charge authors for submitting articles, nor for publishing them once accepted. Nor does it charge readers for accessing its content.
