The quality of communication between parents and children significantly impacts students' communicative skills, affecting their academic performance. A supportive family environment with consistent dialogue fosters key competencies, helping young individuals adapt and excel in the school setting. The general objective aimed to examine the influence of parental communication quality and communicative skills on the academic performance of students at Escuela de Educación Básica Del Pacífico. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative and qualitative analyses for a comprehensive view. The research utilized a non-experimental, descriptive, and explanatory design, observing variables without manipulation. The population included students and representatives from Escuela Del Pacífico, with a specific sample of 8 students and 8 parents. Data were collected through surveys and semi-structured interviews, utilizing validated instruments and a reliability analysis using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Findings indicate that strong, frequent parent-child interactions correlate with improvements in academic performance, reinforcing essential skills within the educational context. Additionally, students receiving consistent support show greater motivation and confidence. It is concluded that regular, focused family dialogue contributes to academic and emotional success, suggesting this connection be encouraged as a crucial element within the educational environment.
