This study delves into the realm of secondary education within the public system, exploring the strategies educators employ to foster student motivation, particularly in English language learning. Understanding how teachers inspire and connect with their students becomes a pressing need in a context where English proficiency is increasingly crucial. Our research focuses on pedagogical tactics, motivational techniques, and classroom dynamics teachers use to ignite young learners' interest. Through a qualitative approach based solely on classroom observation, our aim is to provide valuable insights into fostering motivation in English language learning at the secondary level, within the context of public education.
