Secuelas de la enfermedad por Coronavirus-19 en gestantes: prevalencia y diagnóstico de laboratorio

Resumen

El coronavirus 2 del síndrome respiratorio agudo severo es un virus de ARN, el cual se registró por primera vez en china y se ha propagado en todo el mundo a través de material respiratorio de las personas infectadas. El embarazo es un periodo en donde se simboliza un conjunto de cambios fisiológicos que están destinado a adaptarse en los requerimientos del nuevo ser humano, a lo largo del embarazo la enfermedad por coronavirus-19 está vinculada con la enfermedad leve o moderada en madres de alto riesgo. El objetivo de la investigación fue analizar secuelas de la enfermedad por coronavirus-19 en gestantes: prevalencia y diagnóstico de laboratorio, para ello se realizó un diseño documental narrativo de tipo descriptivo bibliográfico, se incluyeron criterios de elegibilidad y se utilizaron bases de dados con Pub Med, Google académico, Dialnet, para así poder llevar a cabo la investigación. Los resultados obtenidos sobre las secuelas fueron la muerte materna, hemorragia postparto, fatiga post-viral y el parto prematuro, la mayor prevalencia de la enfermedad de coronavirus en gestante fue en Estados Unidos con un 71%. El método de diagnóstico más utilizado es RT-PCR. En conclusión, se analizaron las diferentes variables para determinar las principales secuelas que afectan a las gestantes, en tanto a la prevalencia de la enfermedad varía de acuerdo a la población estudiada y a los países, por último, se mencionan los métodos de diagnóstico utilizadas en gestantes.
