In a world affected by climate change and population growth, agricultural quality and smart crops stand as two fundamental pillars for sustainable development and food security. Agrocalidad is the term used to describe the safety, hygiene and environmental standards that agricultural products must meet to be considered high quality and safe. The application of good agricultural practices, the prevention of pests and diseases, and the proper use of fertilizers and pesticides are necessary to guarantee optimal agro-carity. The use of cutting-edge methods and technologies in the production of agricultural products is called, on the other hand, the use of "smart crops". This includes the application of sustainable agricultural practices that encourage diversity and the efficient use of resources such as water and soil, such as conservation agriculture, intercropping and crop rotation. To meet present and future agricultural challenges, it is crucial to integrate agricultural quality and smart crops. This will enable efficient and responsible production that safeguards consumer health, protects the environment and makes the agricultural sector more resilient to the effects of climate change. Achieving a balance between productivity and sustainability through the use of these techniques and tools creates new possibilities for contemporary, competitive and environmentally friendly agriculture.
