Abstract

The current situation of community entrepreneurship is presented as a dynamic and promising force in the creation of more resilient and sustainable communities. Community entrepreneurship has become more relevant as a means to address local problems and have a positive social impact in a context marked by socioeconomic and environmental challenges. The COVID-19 pandemic has further emphasized the importance of this business strategy by exposing community vulnerabilities and inequities and raising awareness of the demand for region-based collaborative solutions. In many fields, including food security, healthcare, sustainable resource management, and urban renewal, community entrepreneurs are emerging. Despite the progress, community enterprises still face many difficulties, including a lack of resources and funding, red tape, and the need for stronger institutional support. Governments, non-governmental organizations and other key stakeholders must recognize and support the value of community entrepreneurship by implementing policies and initiatives that help it grow and become stronger.
