The global scientific-technological development is being so extraordinary that a more promising future is seen in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases, the optimization of social processes through the management of science and an increasingly deeper understanding of the environment and the human organism itself. For this reason, in the course of the 20th century the concept of scientific culture evolved and the need for the training, development and promotion of scientific culture was outlined, first from the science sector and, later from education, for the understanding of the social nature of science, its function in the social fabric and its impact on the lives of human beings and decision making. Therefore, it is a choral and interdisciplinary work that involves various social actors among whom educators have a primary function, because it is their responsibility to continually rethink scientific education and the training of science teachers so that a synergy occurs between the way in which that science and scientific activity are manifested and the way in which it is taught and learned. In line with the above, the pedagogical strategy for the promotion of scientific culture in students who are trained as teachers of Chemistry and Biology is presented, whose relevance and demonstrated feasibility allows a synchrony between the components of the teaching-learning process and the substantive processes. of university training to achieve this purpose.
