Slope sliding is one of the most frequent and challenging problems in engineering. Various methods are used for their balance and recognition of structural faults in order to improve their stability, therefore the research seeks to identify different seismic horizons to know the fault plane and its electrical resistance. Vertical electrical surveys were carried out with the Schlumberger space device and in turn a Terrameter ABEM-SAS 300B Resistivometer with 200m AB openings was used. For the refraction seismic, bases of the 120m seismic profiles were used, where the explosion points were established 5m from the first and the twelfth geophone, for this a refraction seismograph SEISTRONIX – RAS 24 was used. The results of the investigation determined the existence of three seismic horizons of which in the first horizon of 5.50 to 8.90 meters deep the fault plane was found where its characteristics predominate in loose clay soils interspersed with layers of loose sand product of wind erosion and weathering. Within the orientation of the SEV, a longitudinal geoelectric profile was drawn, which denotes the presence of dry residual soils, fine-grained sediments, the most critical thing is the presence of the geoelectric discontinuity that appears in the area of SEV No.2 , where it is concluded that the lithological differences of the subsoil materials and rocks that are present on the right bank of the San Antonio - San Vicente highway determine lithostratigraphic characteristics that can cause landslides in this sector of great magnitude.
