Abstract

This study aims to design a teacher training program focused on mediation strategies for resolving school conflicts at the "Rumiñahui", to achieve this, the current level of teacher training was diagnosed, and mediation strategies applicable to the socio-educational context of the institution were identified. The methodology employed was descriptive and qualitative, using tools such as surveys and interviews with students, teachers, and authorities to gather the information, the results show that the majority of teachers do not have sufficient training in conflict mediation, which limits the effectiveness of dispute resolution in the classroom. Additionally, a lack of adequate tools to manage conflicts peacefully was evident, which increases school violence, based on these findings, a training program was developed that promotes active participation of both teachers and students in conflict resolution, emphasizing the importance of effective communication, mutual respect, and cooperation, the study concludes that mediation strategies are fundamental for improving school coexistence and reducing violence, contributing to the overall development of students and the strengthening of values within the educational environment..
