Using the Microsoft Teams platform in the teaching-learning process for students

Current technology has rapidly expanded into every area of knowledge, and educators have been forced to transform their classes with the help of emerging technologies. The health emergency caused by the pandemic has driven the adoption of technological platforms, highlighting Microsoft Teams as a fundamental resource for maintaining educational continuity and promoting online collaboration. The main objective of this research is to analyze the impact of the use of the Microsoft Teams platform on the teaching-learning process of third-year high school students at the Aloasi Educational Unit. The methodology is quantitative, non-experimental, with a descriptive and cross-sectional approach, using Likert-scale surveys conducted with 90 students. The results reveal that, although most students perceive that this platform facilitates content comprehension and facilitates assessment, there are difficulties related to resources and clarity in the assessment criteria. In conclusion, Microsoft Teams has established itself as an effective tool for improving interaction and learning, although aspects related to educational resources and assessment need to be strengthened to maximize its potential.
