Some considerations about communication skills

The objective of this article is to reflect on communicative competencies. To achieve this, a bibliographic research supported by inductive-deductive, synthetic analytical and documentary review methods is carried out, which allowed us to reach the following conclusions: exposure to language is a key factor in the development of communicative competence. Children who are exposed to a variety of language, both at home and at school, are more likely to develop good communicative competence; Social interaction is also important for the development of communicative competence. Students learn to communicate through interaction and that educational support can help develop their communicative competence. Teachers can provide students with opportunities to read, write, speak, and listen.
