Abstract

This article aims to reflect on linkage as a development instrument in Education careers. It is built from the development of an initial bibliographic research with the support of the inductive-deductive method, the synthetic analysis and the documentary analysis in order to understand the changes that occurred in the link, all of which allowed information to be collected, processed, interpreted and reached conclusions. following: Linkage is consolidated as a fundamental pillar for the training of educational professionals who are upright, competent and committed to social transformation. Its effective implementation allows us to strengthen the quality of teacher training, the relevance of study plans, educational research and the social impact of universities; It is urgent to strengthen linkage policies and strategies in Education careers. An institutional commitment and the active participation of all the actors involved are required: universities, schools, teachers in training and educational communities. Only in this way can we build a more solid, equitable educational system capable of responding to the needs of the 21st century. Linking not only benefits students in their professional training, but also positively impacts schools, communities and society in general.
