Educational inclusion through universal design: overcoming barriers for students with learning difficulties

This chapter explores educational inclusion through Universal Design for Learning (UDL), highlighting its importance in overcoming the barriers faced by students with learning difficulties. The core principles of UDL and their practical application in the classroom will be reviewed, providing concrete examples and effective strategies. In addition, common barriers will be identified and analyzed, and UDL-based strategies to improve access and participation will be presented. The importance of collaboration among educators to enhance the implementation of UDL will also be highlighted. The chapter concludes with reflections on the benefits and positive impact of UDL on the educational community.
