Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming education by enabling personalized learning. This article examines its impact on academic performance and student motivation in the teaching of Physics in the fourth year of high school, through a quasi-experimental study with two groups: one that used AI tools and the other that employed traditional methods. The results reflect significant improvements in students who worked with AI, highlighting an average increase of 1.5 points in their grades (8.5 vs. 7.0), a 15% reduction in errors in applied problems, greater class participation (70% vs. 50%), more persistence in the face of academic challenges (85% vs. 60%), and greater motivation for learning (80% vs. 55%). These data suggest that the integration of AI in teaching can optimize learning and strengthen students' autonomy and commitment to the subject. The conclusion of this study highlights the relevance of AI as a pedagogical tool, demonstrating that its use not only improves academic performance but also motivation and participation in the educational process.
