Abstract

Educational robotics emerges as an innovative and effective strategy to enhance mathematics learning in basic education. This article analyzes the impact of its integration in the classroom through a quantitative descriptive study applied to students from fifth to seventh grade. Using structured surveys, positive perceptions were identified regarding the understanding of mathematical concepts, problem-solving, and school motivation when using robotic tools. The results show that robotics promotes active, contextualized, and collaborative learning, while strengthening key 21st-century skills such as logical thinking, creativity, and digital literacy. However, challenges remain, particularly concerning the need for specialized teacher training and access to technological resources. The study concludes with the need to promote educational policies that support the implementation of robotics as a pedagogical tool to transform mathematics teaching.
