Abstract

The development of Reading Comprehension in the English Teachers´ Mayor for Elementary Education in the Pedagogical Schools is the main support of the present investigation. Taking as objective: The elaboration of a system of activities, as a didactic alternative, for the development of Reading Comprehension skill, taking into account the Common European Frame work of Reference for languages (CEFRL) in first year of students of the English Teachers´ Mayor for Elementary Education of the Pedagogical School "Ruben Bravo Alvarez" from Bayamo, supported on an International and participating didactic -materialist approach. It contributes to achieve a great development of Reading Comprehension skill in the foreign language in the students of the Pedagogical School ¨ Ruben Bravo Alvarez from Bayamo. The application of the alternative directed to the development of Reading Comprehension skill in English will allow an adequate level of knowledge and development of it.
