Influence of the use of artificial intelligence tools on the development of entrepreneurial competencies in education students

The digital transformation in higher education has driven the incorporation of artificial intelligence tools as support resources in university training processes. This study analyzed the influence of artificial intelligence tools on the development of entrepreneurial competencies in seventh-semester students of the Education Sciences program at the Universidad Estatal del Sur de Manabí. The research adopted a mixed qualitative and quantitative approach at an exploratory-descriptive level, with a population of 30 students enrolled in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation course under a blended learning modality. A structured Likert-scale questionnaire was administered through the Google Forms platform. The results showed that the use of artificial intelligence positively influences competencies such as creativity, problem-solving, innovative idea generation, and autonomous learning, being recognized by the students themselves as a valuable resource for their teacher training. It is concluded that this influence is conditioned by the pedagogical guidance of the instructor and the methodological strategies implemented, meaning that the actual impact of these tools depends on their intentional integration within the formative process.
