Communication skills in students of the Psychopedagogy career

The scientific result obtained in the research developed as part of an advanced pedagogical experience is presented and its objective is the methodological treatment of the components of the mother tongue from a cognitive-communicative and sociocultural approach aimed at the preparation of teaching staff, in order to to reveal the desired communicative competence in university students studying Basic Education. In this way, it is intended to contribute to the understanding of the current state of the development of communicative competence and offer a prospective vision of future trends in this field. It is hoped that the information provided will be useful to researchers and educational policy makers seeking to improve teaching and learning. It thus constitutes an additional bibliographic source that can be consulted by the teacher in general. The main theoretical approaches, recent research, methodological advances and future trends in this field will be addressed.
