Abstract

Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) have become a fundamental component of contemporary educational systems, significantly influencing teaching and learning processes. This study aimed to identify the impact of ICT integration on student academic performance internationally. A documentary design methodology was applied, and the study is explanatory and bibliographic in nature. The results show that the incorporation of technological resources such as virtual platforms, educational applications, digital learning environments, and electronic devices has generated new pedagogical dynamics that transcend traditional educational models, allowing for greater interaction, flexibility, and access to information. In this context, educational institutions face the challenge of effectively integrating ICTs to meet the educational demands of the 21st century. The conclusion that Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) contribute to learning will inform educational decision-making, the design of public policies, and the implementation of innovative teaching strategies that enhance academic performance and promote quality, inclusive education.
